God Transcends all thought. WE cannot describe what transcends thought.SO poets and artists have attempted to describe it the only way they can is with metaphor. SO your saying the particular metaphor is not true. well that's what metaphor is? Its a metaphor.
To understand this particular metaphor. Go to Genesis. Two trees, one that has knowledge of good and evil, up and down, black and white . We stepped from Gods, world that is without opposites. to a world that has time. we are already there. The other tree the tree of immortally is the tree back to that other world beyond time beyond opposites. So in the Jewish christian bibles we are told GOD has placed a guardian at that gate he does not want us back there. Christ on the Cross is on that tree in that garden and the only way back is through him.
In Budd ism that Tree the cross was the tree the Buddha achieved enlightenment under. The difference is in Buddhism he tells us we are already there we don't know it.In Buddhism the guards at the gate is our ego.
The tree the cross are symbols of the axis mun-die the center of the universe the pole that everything else spins around.
It is all a metaphor for the human mind and the human soul. People who take it as history are off the track. People who use the metaphors that did a bad job of describeing God in the first place to disrpove God. well they are farther off track .

Where did the 15% come from. God created the Heavens and the earth, Lucifer God favorite decided he was greater than God and was cast out, with his minions. God gave him power over the underworld, hell, which God must have created. Now question is Do you recognize Gods greater power, over satans? If you do then you try to walk the path God intends for you to walk and therefore his sacrafice was to save us from sins created in our weak moments, moments when we listen to satans voice. Those than strive to walk the path that God has set before us and who believe that only through Jesus will we reach heaven, then we will reach the glory of his kingdom. It is a matter of belief, choice and wisdom on our part not his.

In my opinion GOD is a spirit within one's self. If you truely believe in GOD, you truely believe in yourself. Now I believe you have been reading a book or whatever. Several hundred years ago A englishman wrote a story on paper to stop all the bloodshed in his country. He took it to his queen and they took it to their place a community house for everyone to read and understand it and no matter how many times you read it each time you'd get a different understanding. Their's no sacrificeing.

No He sacrificed His son for us to save us from the place He created for sinners or the fallen angels.
I often have that thought. But at the same time I believe God can do things in whatever ways He wants to do them.
And I also do believe that He sacrificed Himself/His son.....Triology stuff..... to show us how much He loves us..that makes a good sense to me.

You again? OK
God, perfect and without darkness, created us to have fellowship with Him. He wanted friends, children who love Him. That's His nature. God is love. (That does not mean that love is God, btw.) In order for us to be able to love, truly love, we had to be able to truly not love. He gave us free will. The price of that is sin, which He knew would corrupt us, so He had to make a way to redeem us. All this was done before He ever created us. So He showed us His love by giving His most beloved and only perfect Son to suffer and die for the sins we committed. He was the only one who could meet the criteria, so He gave Himself. That's love.

Understand that Hell was not created for mankind, but for Satan and those fallen angels who followed him. This place was created before He created humankind. Because of the disobedience of Adam and Eve, we (humankind) became separated from God and could no longer be with Him, and there was only one other place to go because of our disobedience. God sacrificed Himself so that we would not have to be separated from Him and could be in His presence again. But in order to for that to happen, we have to accept the sacrifice that He made. If not, we are still separated from Him. God does not send anyone to Hell, but accepts and respects our decision not to be with Him.

God (the father) sent his Spirit, wrapped in flesh, to Earth. He was named Jesus (the Son), and he showed us how we were suppose to live. He presented us with the most important choice we all will have to make at some point in our life: Follow his words and live beyond the exitence of flesh for eternity, or follow the sinful nature of the flesh and die with it.
Man (collectively-speaking) chose the ways of the flesh because they couldn't part with their titles (pharisee), money, and even earthly families. Jesus told man that there is more to this life than what you see and know. Man turned him down and tortured him. He (Jesus) allowed them (Man) to capture him and put him on the cross. To them (Man), they were killing him to prevent him for doing them anymore harm (which was supporting their choice). Jesus (the son) was offering God (the father) himself as sacrifice for the ignorant sin (Turning away from God) of man. Jesus, died, rose (through the grace of God), and went to heaven. For those who did believe in Jesus (and that are still believing), Jesus sent the Holy Spirit (God's spirit) down to dwell within them as Jesus was once indwelt with.
***I hope I didn't lose you
We, as Christians, are called to be Christ-like. We will never be Christ because our sins keep us from being that pure.

God sent his son... which is equal to him. It was basically him in spirit. He died on the cross to let us know that he's here. He's around and he loves us so much that he would do something like this.
He wants us to bring people to him, meaning he wants us to tell people theres a better life out there. Heaven is that place. He gave people free will on earth to find out what they want to really do. So now its either Heaven or Hell. You decide. ;-)
