hello !
if i were a 14 year old girl, i would just love you to pieces if you gave me an i-pod for my birthday !!!!!
music is absolutely a great foundation to have and teenagers
need that foundation, or escape if you will, to have while growing up, is a place to go when you are up or down or whatever, and can be very calming and soothing to anyone......it will help her do her homework or falling asleep at night.

i hope this has been helpful for you.......i definatelly had to have music while i was growing up.
good luck to you and may God bless and keep you safe, healthy and happy !!!!!!
and whatever you do get for her she will love because she loves you !!!!!!!
