clever question but kinda missing in parts.
Should the people living outside Turkey not judge me with the crescent and the star in my passport, I could confidenlt claim to be a world citizen.
No consulates in Istanbul accept me as a 'world' citizen but always require lots of documents in order to prove that I'm a decent person before granting me a visa.
WHY? Cause they take me as a Turkish citizen!
When it comes to integration with others, I don't have much initiative anyway.

I am from Greece which is EU - supposed to be more global - but
when i think what i trully am, i really feel greek - turkish - iranian - pakistani - eastern person. Our culture is similar, same words, same food, same temperature, same brotherhood.
I trully feel that Turkish ppl are more helpfull than cold close-minded Europeans ive experienced living in England.
So in ur terms, i dont think any ethical person would like to be such a citizen, cold with no feelings apart from the taste and color of money. But if u ask about brotherhood, yep Turkish *ppl* offer it and its value is greater than that of gold.

I am a Turkish citizen, I am against globalism if that's what you are asking...To me globalism or global movement is a game of the powerful and big..
Still this movement is with us every single moment of our lifes, cheap American films, fast food, clothing with labels etc.. are just a way of globalism (or imperialism the way I see it)..
When you are a world citizen what's your culture and values going to be like have you ever thought about it..
what's the culture in Globalism, I tell you what the culture is, its capitalism and pure American culture..
It's not like how you dream it like..

I can see why you say world citizen. Turkey is pretty intolerant of other religions at times, esp. Christianity and Judaism.
Better to be thought of as a citzen of the World.
Plus the Germans won't just think of you as a "Gastarbeiter".
