I'v tried tofu in the past and didn't like it. Does anyone have a recipe that makes tofu not taste like tofu?

Good Lord. Tofu is absolutely vile. If you don't like it then why force yourself? Eat something you like and enjoy life.

Tofu tends to take on the flavor of what you're cooking it with. Try frying slices in a pan with some olive oil. Slices should be less than 1/2 inch thick and that's pushing it. The thinner the slices, the crunchier the edges will be.
Put a few drops of Soy Sauce (Tamari is a good brand) on each slice. Usually works out to be two capfuls of soy sauce. Once slices are nicely browned on one side flip them over and add more soy sauce. Very tasty with fresh steamed veggies.

Tofu is flavourless and it needs herbs or spices to aid it it's flavour. You could drian the tofu it press out all the water and then the tofu will absorb more flavor. Any meat recipe you choose sub in tofu. You can marinarte grill puree youyr hearts content.

12 ounces medium egg noodles
2 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided
1 pound firm tofu, drained and cubed
2 1/2 cups thinly sliced fennel bulb (about 1 small bulb)
1 zucchini, quartered lengthwise and thinly sliced (about 1 1/2 cups)
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
2 (14.5-ounce) cans diced tomatoes with onions and garlic, undrained

Cook noodles according to package directions, omitting salt and fat.
While the noodles cook, heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add tofu, and cook 10 minutes or until golden brown, stirring frequently. Remove tofu with a slotted spoon. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in pan. Add the fennel and zucchini, and cook for 4 minutes or until tender, stirring frequently. Stir in the tofu, vinegar, basil, oregano, pepper, and tomatoes. Reduce heat; simmer until thick (about 5 minutes). Serve with noodles.

I have it in the morning in a smoothie.
1/4 pkg of tofu, frozen fruit (whatever u like) banana for some thickness, a little ice & oj - it's yummy

I like to dash it with soy sauce, hot sauce and a little cillantro.
