go to the hospital! I never get along with my dad either, but going to the hospital would show your love to him. Sometimes dads need encouragement too. I really hope he is okay! Okay now get off the computer and go :)
Give him some flowers later to brighten up his day. But please, go!

Advise from a 40 Year Old. My Dad and I didn't speak for years for varying reasons when I was young (late teens to mid twenties). Alot that had to do with him kind of disappearing, not paying child support, etc.

We still have differing opinions, but we talk now. Can't remember how it started. But I will tell you that we are now great friends as adults. You can't replace your Dad and if he is really sick...You will regret not seeing him for the rest of your life.

Be the better person. For exampleMy Dad still forgets all of his kids birthdays. So what do you do "Pout About It". No I call him and remind him. It's nothing personal, it's just not a strong point for him.

I've been through this in my life and could type for days on it.

SEE HIM!!! BE THE BIGGER PERSON!!!

If he can't be you should be able live with the fact that you did your best, which is really a good way to live your life in general.

Go see him. If you love him there's every chance that maybe the two of you could work on getting along better. Don't let this opportunity to make it right pass. You might not have another.

If you don't stop what you're doing and go to the hospital right now, you may regret it for the rest of your life if something bad happens...and you know what? Even if all goes well, and you don't go, he will always carry that thought that you didn't go see him in this dire time. Swallow your pride and go...I will bet you that something wonderful will happen as a result...like forgiveness.

go see him... my father passed a year ago and i wasn't able to see him before or after he passed and i didn't know my father. his recent wife kept him away from family, and he was old and senile and a deadbeat father. 3x i saw him in 25 years..
its important even if u dont get along that u see him and just tell him you love him. if something were to happen to him, u would be hurt that u didnt' get to see him. and he needs support.
appreciate the fact that you have a parent/s (i have none alive) (both deceased)

If he's in the hospital, then you need to forget about your problems and go to visit him. If you don't go, you'll probably regret it later, and no one wants that. Just go to visit him, tell him that you love him and hope for the best
hope everything turns out alright<3

Go to the hospital and love him--send him good energy and your prayers/best wishes--moments like this are opportunities to forgive and to love--(of course if your father was abusive or cruel--that is different--still--you can wish him good luck, etc.)--But if you just were not getting along--you can use this as an opportunity to send him love--Forgiveness is mighty--send him love...

If you love him he surely loves you too, go to his side and make company for the time you want, maybe you don't get along for whatever reasons, but -God forbides- if it's extremely Ill , you'll regret if you don't say "I love you".
Surely there are happy moments to remember.
GO
Bring flowers and something interesting to read if he can.
