I feel sorry for any one who believes in a God who was not smart enough to create them right the first time.

No, I really do not feel that way about those who believe that they are "saved", or that a change in their lifestyle and/or beliefs has resulted in their achieving salvation of some sort.
From where I'm sitting, the most important thing is to be happy in life, and if you can do this solely on the strength of your own convictions or through a desire to be that happy person, then I'm all for it. However, if it takes the manifestation of some outside power to get you there, then that's okay too.
...just as long as nobody tries to convince me their way is the right way. I don't criticize anyone else's beliefs, so don't go harping on mine.

true story. a soldier was zapped in iraq and his heart stopped. during the time it took for him to hit the ground and get revived he had an out of body experience.he arrived at heaven(no saint peter at the gates) he saw some of his "saved " loved ones who passed on before him.then a voice said it's not your time and he came back.there are witnesses to the incident in iraq, there was a soldier who performed c.p.r. and there are numerous doctors and electricians who said this person should not be alive.there are electrical burns where the electricity entered and exited his body, and then medical records to prove everything but the trip to heaven.so i guess why should i believe this absurd story? because it happened to me. so i guess i don't feel sorry for those who are truly save, but hope to return and feel sorry for the ones who never get to feel the peace and freedom i had for a brief time.i grew up in church and had my doubts, but not any more

No, I feel sorry for those who aren't saved. I believe there is a Heaven and I am going there when I die. If you are right, fine, I will lose nothing, i will be dead. If I'm right then you will lose everything by spending eternity in Hell. So NO, I don't feel sorry for those that are saved!

My only real question is what exactly are they saved from?
1. An angry God that is only happy when something dies?
2. Any and all responicibility for their actions?
3. Not having to obey law because they have FAITH!
That last one is really scary since there bible clearly says how they DO NOT HAVE TO OBEY LAWS!
Perhaps the world needs saved from THEM!!

If they only "think" their saved yes.
If they have accepted Jesus and His death (on the cross) and resurrection from the dead three days later.
If they follow Romans 10.
Then no they know how to be saved.

The purpose of saving something is to use it later like food or money. What purpose can those 'so-called' saved people serve when they're dead?
