I watch four children at a time and I charge 80.00 per each child because I know how hard is to find reasonable child care and I try to make a living and help the parents. The parents bring their snacks I provide their lunch. two of my moms are single moms struggleing and I always wish some one would have been there and done that for me.

Wow, yeah, I need to edit my answer. I said earlier $400/week, but that's a smidge high, isnt it? I say charge $45 per day. The daycare my daughter goes to charges like $250 a week for kids under the age of 5, and more for infants. Before I put her in that daycare, she went to an in-home daycare, and the lady charged me $35 for 3 to 4 hours.

I am sure there are many variables. The average where I live for licensed day care for a child that age is $2.75-$3.00 per hour.
The rates can vary too based on if you provide meals or the child brings their own meals/snacks.

If this in your home, $8-$10/hour.

That comes to about $21,000 a year, which isn't much.

If you're on the lower end, off paid vacation and sick leave (maybe 1 week total a year) and maybe even health insurance.

Check with local daycare operators in your area and see how much they charge. I would assume you would charge a little less, but you need to charge a fair amount too - it's very hard work if you do it right!

Are you licensed?

Its usually about 30.00 per 8 hour day but since you are doing nine I added some extra on there
