my brother wont ever leave me alone. he will do anything to make me mad. (and i think he knows what to do to make me mad) i've tried ignoring him but it just doesnt work. i've also tried being really nice to him and i will admit that i'm not always nice to him either but he usually starts it. what can i do to make him stop doing everything to make me mad????
please give me some advise. PLEASE?????????

I know how you're feeling. My older brother is the same way. Well there's really not much you can do. Because I'm guessing that talking to him just leads to him bugging you even more or telling you you're too sensitive, right? Well even though it doesn't help, ignoring him is the best way to stop him from bugging you. Try locking yourself in your room and letting go of your feelings by writing poetry or something. It might not help the situation between you and your brother, but let me tell you, it does help to let your feelings out. Or else you should just pretend that whatever he's doing does not bug you. I've done this several times before and it really did stop my brother from being annoying. After all, siblings aren't going to reallylisten, and showing your anger will just get them enjoying themselves even more. Hope that helped!

well that depends on his age if he is 13 and younger, i hate to say it but that is the way he is going to be. i have 4 younger brothers and they were the same way. i learned later though that they wouldn't leave me alone because they just wanted ot spend time with me, even though they would be really annoying. also if there is a big age difference that will contribute. me and two of my brothers have a year between each of us and then i have two YOUNGER ones, im 22 and they are 13 and 9. so there is a gap there that will never be filled. sometimes this is the way it will be until he hits puberty and starts maturing and getting interested in other things. i hate to tell you that and i wish i could offer more but it's the truth. do you remember when you were in elementary, the boys would annoy you to let you know that they liked you? well thats how boys are until they mature. even with their sisters although it's not the same kind of liking.

That is funny b/c I used to be just like that towards my brother. I used to be a pain to my brother. I agravated him and picked, picked, picked. He used to beat me up and that way i would leave him alone b/c he would make me cry and i would go to tell my mom. She would ask what is going on and once my brother would tell her that I keep botherin him then I would get in trouble. My mom make me go outside or to my room. That would make me leave my brother alone until the next day. I would start all up again. It was a unstop issue but it eventually got better. Especially when my mom started givin me things to keep me busy. I have to help her so I would stay away from my brother. Till this day, we sit and laugh about that sometime. So I guess I would suggest the same for you.

Quit letting him know that he is making you so mad. That is adding fuel to his fire. Once he sees he isn't getting the reaction he wants from you he will subside. Might take a while and alot of self control on your part, but it's worth a shot. Plus, have you sincerely told him that you are starting to dislike him greatly because of his actions towards you and asked him to stop? If not, then why don't you.

Laugh along with whatever he does.
dont let him know how he gets to you
if he sees it doesnt bother you anymore he will eventually leave you alone

this is a hard one to fix since you know how to push his buttons, and he knows how to push yours, you need to sit down and have a talk with him, he is your brother for life,
