if she gave you her business card, then that is a hint that anything on the card is okay to use. But if you said you would e-mail her first, then I would follow thru with that first, maybe saying you will call her soon at the end of your e-mail. You could also ask in the e-mail if that is her business or home number and if it is okay to call her at work. Her reply to the e-mail should give you a good idea how to continue building the relationship.

Well if I gave out my business card I would know my phone number was on there. So I wouldn't mind a call. Just call at a respectful time, now if she is mad at the call sounds like she doesn't want to be bothered in the first place.

I'm a guy but I feel I can give you a good answer. You should follow what you said and email her. But since she intentionally gave you her business card which had all of her personal information listed-name, email, phone; you should feel that it's legitimate to call her. She wouldn't give you something listing her phone number if she didn't want you to have it and was against having you call her.Give her a call. I don't see a reason why you shouldn't.

If you really like this girl call!!!! It makes a woman feel important to know that you care enough to call. If she gave you her phone number, that means that she wants you to call. Ask her about what she cares about and once you know her interests you can exchange info and understand each other and give your opinion. Life is too short to live with regret. If you get a chance and you don't take it, you will always regret it. Take care Heather

I would do as you said you would. You might scare her off (although she probably is perfectly aware that she gave you her number; i.e. it was no "accident"). In the email, ask if its all right to call her. Explain that you wanted to, but... You will probably earn points for being a gentleman. By the way, I like how you used the word "gal."

I think you should call her. I find it always nicer and braver to talk to someone over the phone rather than online. In person would be better, but stick with what you've got. Wish you the best of luck!! ♥
