how long does the pill to take to work? they gave me two doses the second dose he gets in 6 weeks..will worms cause any long term health problems for him?

the worming of your cat should not cause any problems, but keep in contact with your vet. keep an eye on his stool and quickly clean it, that is were the worms and eggs will end up. wear gloves and wash your hands thoroughly. watch what he eats, that were he gets them. good luck.

The time it takes the pill to work varies. When my dog had them it took about a day. His poop had worms in it for a couple days, but each time there were less worms. Your cat will be fine and chances are he'll never notice anything was wrong!

hmm iam not really sire cause i never buy medicans for worms for my cat i just bring him to the vet and have them gave him a hearts worms and virus tests shots that all they told me that my cat will stay healthy long time and have long term life that he wont have any worms , or another kinds viruses that the shot did help him so he hadnt got sick yet.

Make sure to give them to your cat. Yes worms can cause long term problems if not treated. Such as overeating & malnutrition Not sure how long it takes for them to work.

No, he will be fine. Deworming is pretty common and easy
