As much as I'd like to tell you Julian is a great name this is a decision that you really need to make for yourselves. Can you imagine 10 years from now thinking back when you decided your child's name and taking the advice of someone named something like happy_chick89764? That almost as bad as getting a tattoo you don't like.
You should try to use a name that means something to you, and not base it on how is sounds with your last name.
If you had any people that helped you change your life dramatically, or perhaps someone who just made a big difference in your life. Picking a name for your child should come from a good memory not from a book.

Good luck!

I like all the names, except Julian Jacobs. Too much of a mouthful. Garrett - isn't that an attic? How about Gareth?

Hi there,

Congratulations!

I like the sound of Nicholas Jacobs. Plus, he'll be able to shorten it to Nick as a nickname.

Well, do you like full names, or do you prefer to abbreviate sometimes?

If you went Julian, you could call him J.J.

Personally, I wouldn't select any of those names, as they aren't on my list of what I want to name my child. But Garrett is a nice name, I do like that one better than any of the others.

Nicholas Jacobs! Before you say no, just say it out loud. It sounds good!
