Nope. Hong Kong is cool. It has lots of good places to visit, some modern, some traditional. It has pretty good food, too. You can find tons of food vendors on the side of the street selling a large variety of delectable treats. And Hong Kong holds a pyrotechnics display that is currently the largest in the world.

Unfortunately, we only spent one night in Hong Kong on the way back from China, so I can't really tell you. And even there, basically the flight got in at like 9:00 and we were out the next morning at 6:00. What we saw looked like it would be an exciting place, though. Lots of lights and activity, and I know there's a lot of money there so I'm sure there's a lot to do.

If you are there and not enjoying yourself, maybe you're just not looking in the right places. You might want to get involved with some church or social group.

Hong Kong is only exciting to those who are fun-loving, adventurous, enjoy night sceneries, shopping and good food, especially dim sum.

A trip is how you plan it to be. If your mind-set is against the place, no matter how charming that place is, you will never enjoys it.

I personally love HK and would want to visit it every year if I can afford it.

I dont agree. I just love HK. If you compare HK with rest of china, its the most exciting & lively city. Very fashionable & awesome night life. Try staying in Tsim Sha Tsui area. You will feel the real HK.
