He was a semite--looked like all the other middle-eastern jews of that time. Not black, but like a typical middle-easterner today.

Jesus was born in or around present day Israel to parents from about the same region. He was probably darker skinned in the manner of Arabs.
His general depiction as white probably came from when Christianity was adopted by the Roman Empire and thousands of people throughout Europe converted and began painting Jesus in their image.

No the ethnic population in that geographical location of the middle east does not indicate a black race lived there.

Nope,
Beige !
~~~~~~~~
All the people on this planet Earth are descendants from the first couple -
Adam and Eve. We are ALL just shades of that same colour !
Hold a sheet of Real White and Real Black paper up against your skin.
I can tell you "for certain" that your skin colour matches neither of these
paper colour samples. We are all "off white - or - BROWN !
WE ARE ALL OF THE SAME COLOUR because we are all indeed
descendants of that couple. Because of protective pigmentation we
are of different shades indeed.
What a beautiful example of how OUR MAKER designed us and built
a protective system into our skins to protect us from the suns rays !
Few people realize that The Bible does not say anything in opposition to
what is referred to as "mixed marriages". This is precisely why.
If "mixed marriages" do not work in our society, as it is today, it is because
of the arrogance of man. To "prove" superiority they often use gross
misinterpretations of Bible passages or misapply a Bible passage to
make it look like it proves them correct.
I've never seen a black man. Dark brown is the closest.
Good question pal
But prophet Jesus was not black
however, Prophet Moses was black
Or maybe darked skin
Because in the Miracle when Allah askes him to pull his hand, and he will see it white.
So that obviously means, he was balck
Well as he was an Alien, he was obviously green *grin*.
Truth be told, we don't know if he existed, or if he was simply a metaphor used for teaching. The color does not matter - the teachings do - if you're that way inclined.!
Well since he said he was not of the house of David, but the son of mary and God, he could be from anywhere, so its really likely that he was black. Since Christianity is a European religion, the probably made him white to look like them.
