For a religions of the world class, we've been asked to interview someone from a religion other than our own (in my case, Christianity). What are ten questions you'd ask someone from a different relgion?

2) Does your religion ask for salvation?
3) Where did your religion originate?
4) Does your religion have a prophet?
5) If so, did the prophet come yet? or did the prophet already came?
6) What is your favorite thing about your religion?
7) What is some common ritual?
8) What are some of the popular religious holidays?
9) What is your holy book?
10) who wrote it?
11) Does your religion ask for any sacrifices?
12) Who is the founder of your religion?
13) Where is your "Holy place"?
14) where is your place of worship? ie.. temple/church
15) In what regions is your religion practiced.

1. What is the philosophy?
2. Philosophy according to which scripture?
3. Who wrote the scripture?
4. Do you believe in Karma?
5. Do you believe in Reincarnation, life after death?
6. What is Atma or Soul/
7. When was the religion started?
8. Is there God?
9. What is the name, form, quality and nature of the God?
10. What does God do, if he exists?
11. Is your God sectarian or universal?

I'm a Christian too. I believe "significant" religions are much more similar on their essences than in their appearances. They have a clear conception from God, and seek for the same purposes. My questions will be tending to make understand others religion people, that all of us have a similar concept from God, our souls, life, ethics and behavior, and that we all look for the same objectives. To be good people, to leave in peace, and with Gods will, to meet in Heaven.

Here's 10 off the top of my head....
-What brought you to your religion?
-What aspects of it have affected you the most?
-What do you think of people who challenge your beliefs with hateful rumors and protests?
-Do you have any holy scripture or a holy book of any kind?
-Do you think that there is more than one path to heaven or enlightenment?
-What do you think of the extremists who take things too far supposedly in the name a higher power or god?
-What would you say to someone who had never heard of your religion?
-Do you ever question your beliefs?
-Is there anything that would cause you to change your religion or beliefs?
-Are there any religions in the world that you find interesting other than your own?

I would ask for the basics: What is the premise, view, or idea that your religion is based on? What are its basic assumptions? What recommendations for living does it give? What do you think are the most common misconceptions about your religion, and how would you clarify them? Are there any people or characters who exemplify your religion? What does your religion celebrate, if anything?

I would ask stuff like, who is your major prophet, whats your holy books, basic stuff thats still importants. also if you can dig up any dirt on the religion and ask the person about it that would be GREAT. Your prof will love that.

be polite and understanding and easy going
Because Allah asked us to discuss with them in the lovliest and easiest way.

How do you pray to your god?
What sorts of things would please your god?
What does your god do or control? (weather/crops, fertility, death rate, etc.)
What is your "Bible" or rule book called?
Is anything considered unacceptable or unholy?
What do you think of people who have different religions?
