2wks ago my b/f was totally nice to me and considerate and he says stuff like, "I'm so crazy about you." Ever since the day after that, he's been really distant, never IMing me or calling or texting me or asking to hang out and then about three days ago, he IMed me while I was idle saying that he said he really had to talk and that something really bad happened but he didn't want to talk about it and he wanted to tell me that he wasn't going to prom anymore (he'd invited me a while back). Now, ever since then, he doesn't talk and when I IM him, he's always cutting me off saying stuff like, "Can't talk, tired." "Can't talk, busy." And he never IMs me or anything, he doesn't contact me at all.
What's his problem?

What was his excuse when he said he would not be able to take you to prom? Did he just say "something real bad happened" without explaining what it was and you did not even ask him for an explanation? I would of asked and to me, the explanation better have been a good one. Prom is a very important occasion, girls usually plan ahead and really look forward to it. And for him just ot give you a lame excuse amazes me! What amazes me even more is the fact that you still continued to try to talk to him IM him! Why? I would have been angry. He probably decided on taking someone else to the prom and so now is avoiding you. To me, the writing was on the wall after that lame excuse of his for not being able to go to the prom. Stop selling yourself so short and feel as if you have to beg for someone's love and attention. Be good to yourself and forget this jerk.

He told you something really bad happened. Why are you not listening. Bad things drain the life out of a person. When he has a good nights sleep, sit him down and tell him how you really feel, this will help him. If you stick with him during the rough parts he will stick with you through yours. If you are understanding enough, he will tell you what is really going on and appreiciate that you care and stick by his side. Take note and understand more than you want to, it will be your asset in the end. Hope this helped, Heather

maybe he's an idiot, maybe he didn't mean to ask you out, maybe he just wanted to see you reaction, are you guys in high school? is so i personally wouldn't get to serious anyway, i looked at high school as an experimental phase. i didn't do anything to toy with peoples feelings, but i didn't take things seriously till i got more towards the college level. you should forget about him and get with somebody else, if you don't want to, do it anyway just to see how he reacts

Taking a wild guess. He cheated on you and now he's done. Ask him point blank (face to face) what he did and move on. Even if he didn't cheat......sounds like he is through with the relationship.

Sounds like the relationship is over as far as he's concerned. ;o( Sorry but he's not being very fair to let you hang on like he seems to be doing but your better off without him.

its possible that something did happen and he doesn't know how to deal with it or express himself so he is pushing you away, or it could be that met someone else or he no longer wants to be with you. (sorry to say that but you did ask)
