HELLO HYDRATION! But if you want to keep you color, trust me on this.
add a little (vey little, like 2 sprays) of Sun-in to the conditioner. just use it like normal and it will hydrate your hair and maintain your color! It totally worked for me, i swear.

Try Clairol Luminous gold it dos not dry out hair lasts about 3 months, if your hair is short one bottle will do 2-3 times . Can get it at a beauty supp lie shop like Sally's cost about 12-14 for the gold plus the luminous and a applicator bottle Isn't that much I have used it for 2o years and no one thinks I do anything to my hair!

Coconut oil. Cheap, beautiful-smelling, and works great for overprocessed hair. Rub a bunch in your hair once a week and leave it in for about an hour, hitting it with the hairdryer every now and then. I lighten my hair myself, and this gives very good results.
If budgeting is not a problem, you might want to try going to a salon for your highlights. They are more spendy, but they last longer, and are way less drying.

I went through the same issue with that product, and used many products to try and smooth it out.Long process. I will never use that product again. I will stick to professional treatments.
All I can say is try using these products, and have patience, as you will need to trim the dry ends off as your hair grows.
Frizz eez
Cholesterol(yes it's a product for hair)
Moisturizing shampoo
Treseme
V-05
any leav-in conditions help as well in addtion to:
V-05 hot oil treatments
infuseum 123
There are various hair masks out there as well, but I have never used them.
GOOD LUCK!

Wait, what is the question? Lightening your hair or relaxing your hair? LIghtened with with anything but use hot oils to moisterize and relaxing as in curly hair? Huh? I'm Asian and my mom has curly hair but she uses African Pride hair relaxer!
Hope this helps.
