My friend's nephew(8-9 years old) has been diagnose with cancer and the doctor said he has a couple of months to live. I live far away, so I can't visit. Does anyone have a suggestion that I could do to help/comfort her. Thank you in advance.

Cancer is a terrible, awful disease...

My father died of cancer this past year..

From experience.. the best thing I can tell you is to be as supportive as you can. Let your friend ramble on for hours and hours of she/he needs to... and be there to listen.

This is an awful time for your friend and their family..

I'm very sorry to hear of this sad news..

When my 11 year old son was in his last weeks it was comforting knowing I had friends and people I could call on to talk about the weather, other peoples kids, shopping, what is happening in the world. Sometimes a momentary break from reality lifts you back to the fight at hand. Don't completely ignore the situation though. Ask how her world is going and she will lead the conversation. Just be there. You are a true friend good luck.

first of all do no longer contain god in any of this. The loss of a family members member or close pal can and could happen. that's a classic portion of existence. it's going to make you savour them greater. loss of life is the ending of the particular individual however the memory you carry on your heart and strategies will final consistently. that's amazingly typical to have those thoughts as long because it would not consume you and wreck each and every day with subject. you're a compassionate individual.

Just let her know you're there for her, send her cards, flowers, don't talk about it all the time, ask her if she feels like talking to you at that time. Let her know you feel her sorrow. Try sending her funny pictures or jokes that she could share with her nephew, if he's able to speak.Just be the best friend you can be.

Get your friends nephew on emu oil right away it may very well save his life. I would say six tablespoons a day. emu oil is safe to take and kills cancer cells. One should always consult their doctor before trying anything new. Good luck

Just be there for her and don't be afraid to talk about the situation. She probably needs to talk to someone outside the family. You could also send a caring gift to the family, such as maid services and/or mail-order meals that they might need during such a stressful time. You guys are in my prayers.

you may live far away, but God doesn't. Pray for her son, ask God to heal that littke boy. He can do it, He healed my daughter of a crippling bone disoreder. She's running around like nothing ever happened. Prayer works, because the Almighty, true and living God lives.
