if some rich guy said he would pay you to eat your pet dog, how much money would you do it for?

i am glad this is a hypothetical question. i would never ever ever eat my pet dog. this is gross to even think about such a thing and i'm even more stupid for answereing it.

I would have to tell said rich guy to shove his money up his ***.
I've spent way too much time training the puppy to have to replace him, and the other one is all old and gnarley and I don't think there's a whole lot left on him to eat.

"Hypotheticaly".... why would a person pay someone else to eat their own pet unless that person had some serious mental issues and/or fetishes. Sounds similar to some of the characterisitcs I studied in my criminal profiling/criminal psychology courses.
My answer....no amount of money could entice me to eat my pets.
I understand that in other cultures people may eat dog and cat. However, in my culture, we don't. We do eat cows though which are considered sacred in other cultures. It's not the animal that you're talking about eating, to most of us it's a family member.

I would eat a dog, but not my pet dog. In many countries dogs are not viewed as pets. They are workers and a food supply. There is nothing innately wrong with eating a dog. They have just acheived a status in this culture making it taboo to eat dog.

I would do it for 100K or more. Not that I think my dog is worth 100K, but I need that much to get out of the financial hole I'm in. It's just a dog and they eat them in Korea anyway.
And my dog is old and probably would only suffer if he lived much longer anyway.
BUT I would have to put it down myself in a fast way, NO torture or painful death.

I just would not eat my pet, my pets are my family too. I wouldn't eat my family.
