jews, masons, christians? - and will it matter which group funds it?
in order for the antichrist to defile it.. it needs to be consecrated/dedicated to God, i'd think.

some say saddam was working towards rebuilding babylon - not the temple of solomon (huge difference)
i have the view that babylon will be created with molecular construction stuff - there's supposedly a company that should have the tech down in a year. (the point behind babylon is rebellion/pride - pushing the limits of possibility would seem to be included).

The rebuilding of Solomon's temple is nowhere mentioned in the NT as being relevant to prophecy., It is a part of theology called dispensationalism and is inferred because to believe in dispensaionalism, the rapture etc. you would have to have a rebuilt temple because that system of theology requires it for the "antichrist" to come to destroy it. It is not Biblically proven or provable but is able to be refuted. Have you ever wondered why in 1 John John notes that "there are many anticrhists in the world?" 1 John 2:18 - That Antichrist should come, and that there are already MANY antichrists in the world (remember he is writing that 2000 years ago! We dont have to wait for the "antichrist" because there are already and have been many in the world since John wrote his letter in the 60-90 AD!!

Not sure . But the temple mount ( the place the Moslem's were rioting about today) is the site of Solomons temple to be rebuilt . When that is destroyed ( probably by the mossad and blamed on someone else) , Its gonna hit the fan . And I'm sure the masons will have a hand in rebuilding it , based on their history and identity being so intertwined with Solomons temple .

Both the Torah and Revelations clearly state that the Temple of Solomon will be built by God and decend from the heavens in a cloud of fire and lightening to take its place in the city of Jerusalem where it originally stood and remain there for 1000 years before the birth of the anti-christ and ascention of the 76 legions of demons.

That has already happened in 70 A.D.
There is no indication that it will happen again. There is no indication that the temple will be rebuilt again.
