WOW I'VE NEVER HEARD OF ONE THAT BIG BEFORE. MY MOM GETS THEM AND SHE USES A HOME REMEDY CREAM THAT A FRIEND OF HER MAKES.THERES GONE IN UNDER 2 DAYS AND IT TAKES THE PAIN AWAY. HAVE YOU GONE TO THE DOCTOR YET? I WOULD, THEY CAN PROBABLY GET RID OF IT OR AT LEAST GIVE YOU SOMETHING FOR THE PAIN. PLUS ITS BETTER TO GET IT CHECKED OUT TO MAKE SURE ITS OK, BOILS ARE INFECTIONS AND ONE THAT BIG IS A BAD SIGN. HERES A LINK TO SOME HOME REMEDIES. MY FAMILY SWEARS BY REMEDIES. I'M 24 AND MY MOTHER HAS TREATED ME WITH THEM SINCE BIRTH. GOOD LUCK BUT PLEASE JUST GO TO THE DOCTOR OR TO YOUR LOCAL HOSPITAL AND ASK A NURSE THEIR OPINION.

A boil 2 golf ball sized needs draining and antibiotic, minor surgery. When the boil is drained it will start to heal. Boils have bacteria in them and need to be treated.

Surgery? Not usually. Most times it can be lanced and drained. That is something the dr can do in their office. Healing time depends on how deep it is and how fast your body heals normally.

HYUK! I drove in a hailstorm out West as quickly as... they have been beating down on my %.-up truck notably solid, yet no longer golfing-ball sized, fortuitously... I even have seen hail-stone-sized golfing balls however... I commonly lose 3 consistent with 18 holes... on generic. thank you!

Forget surgury---put some colgate toothpaste(white) on it tonight
and the boil is gone by morn. Some folks need 2 nights of
treatments.
Rinse off with hot and then cold water, rub babyoil on it.

WOW! That's pretty big. It's got to be uncomfortable. I would consult a doc. They may be able to lance and remove it. It's usually a pretty easy and not very painful procedure.

It could also be a cyst. You need to go and have it taken care of. It could get infected and then you will have a problem.
