This is a classic. Most people here should know this, but. . .
2 sons and 2 fathers went fishing. Each of them caught 1 fish, but they ended up with 3! No fish were lost, and none were eaten or damaged in any way. How is this possible?

1st man was a father (and a grandfather) - he caught fish 1
2nd man was a father and also a son - he caught fish 2
3rd man was a son (and a grandson) - he caught fish 3

There is a Granddad, a dad and a son. The grandad and the dad are both fathers, and the dad and the son are both sons.

It's actually just three men...bloke, his Dad and his Grandad. The 'Dad' is both father, and son!
