What you describe sounds quite painful. I know our dog itches a lot and it's not "dry skin". We ran lots of tests on him and confirmed that he has discoid lupus erythramatosis. I think that's how it's spelled. Basically he has an allergic reaction to the sun which makes him scratch at his nose all the time. His skin is also mixed dark and white pigment, so he just has skin issues overall. Why I bring this up you might ask?

Well typically blood and skin disorders are auto-immune system related. It could be that your immune system is activated and trying to fight a part of your body.

On the other hand, you could have some reaction to something in your lifestyle. Lotions and oils with perfume are notorious for causeing symptoms like this. The reason I mentioned the auto-immune issue before, is you described the itch as coming from the inside of your hand. This to me signals that the issue stems from within your body and isn't something that was absorbed by the hand.

Wash hands good with dial antibacterial soap, use warm and then ice cold to rinse.
Put Aloe Vera Gel on them immediately afterwards.
At night , use Bees Wax or Caramex Chapstick.
Sounds like u got poison ivy under your skin.
Soak hands in olive oil too.
Take a benedrly for all that itch.

Try applying a clay paste on your hands at night (clay powder mixed with water), keep for a couple of hours (just like a "mask" only that it would be for your hands). Clay through absorbing capacities, eliminates toxins from your body and a lot of skin diseases are being cured with clay. You might need an internal treatment as well.

Are you avoiding all scented soaps and hand creams? Go hypo-allergenic for everything you touch. No scent in your dish or laundry detergent, no fabric softener or bleach. Use mild plain detergent from the natural food store or All Clear or products like that. Try using diluted vinegar to clean the bathroom and kitchen sink. Avoid sewing with new fabric. It can have chemicals on it. Think about everything you use your hands for and try to figure it out.

I purchased a different dish detergent and it made me itch all over for two days from using it for one day.

eczema could cause your hands to itch - it's usually the cold weather and dry air that makes them itch plus all the scratching makes them raw and painful.

You say it's deep within. Have you seen a neurologist? This could be more than dry skin or allergy.
