Sweetie, if that is what your boyfriend wants, of course it is not dumb to get it for him. And hey, if you want to make it sexy (Victoria's Secret style), you can put on the all weather gear over some cute lingerie and give him one gift at a time. :)

okay, I am not understanding what you are asking, but a romantic dinner and sexy fashion show sounds very appealing to a guy to me. And really, it's not Christmas, Valentines it supposed to be romantic for couples, not just for gifts. Not saying that is the point of Christmas but Valentines you don't give big gifts or anything, it's supposed to be romance. I would want something romantic on Valentines day and well he is a guy, the fashion show things would be cool for him. Also, maybe get him the headset or gear too. Then you can't go wrong, but are you saying he would rather have the headset then the latter? Then he is well...different. Maybe he has a secret...

I say do a little of both. Get him the headset and a few pieces of the weather gear, then a nice dinner and the fashion show

He wants something practical and useful that can be used all year long. The dinner is nice and the fashion show is good but after it's all done there's no more. Where as, the gifts will always be there to remind them of you and the special day.

He'll forget about the fashion show in a few days. He'll remember you everytime the coldweather gear keeps him warm or he uses the Xbox headset.

why not get him 3 presents all seperate boxes....
1. xbox headset 2.cold weather gear and the 3. vs outfit
have a message in each box.....like in the second one, this won't warm u up too much.... and in the third one BUT THIS WILL!!! or in the second one this is for work and in the third AND THIS IS FOR AFTER WORK!

I think it should be a mutual decision.
The Xbox is really expensive and that's OK if you have the money. The cold weather gear for work is another story, more practical.
For dinner your could always cook him dinner in your VS favorite clothing.

Practical gifts are great! Especially if he wouldn't buy them on his own! Ooh, and as for that XBox headset- I just saw one in the clearance isle in WalMart! you should check yours out, they always have great stuff there! But why not both? You'll both benefit from Victoria Secrets, but if other stuff is on sale, then go for it, too!
