we have been dating for 3 1/2 months now and idk if i should so something elaborately special or just something simple and sweet?
if so, could you give me some examples?

Depends on the seriousness of the relationship.
But unless you plan on proposing anytime soon, keep it reasonably simple. Something she will always have a fond memory of, whether things continue or eventually you break up. Flowers, Chocolate, dinner, maybe include something silly that shows how well you know her, and had her in mind as you were shopping.

you should do what you feel like. If your relationships is strong and the like, think accordinglly. If your girl likes you very much, and you too, your characters and personalities should probably somehow tell how much effort each of you will be giving the other. I'd like something sweet and simple if i was your girl, but like i said, it's very much in the one's personality and the stage of your relationship.

After three and a half months, I wouldn't go too ellaborate, but I would think some roses and candy would be sweet. You don't want to go all out too soon, but you do want things to be special.

Get her a cute stuffed animal, preferably probably a teddy bear and a small box of chocolates and a rose.

I'm not a ckick but I think flowers and candy always are good choices. if you can remember something small meaningful that she talked about, buy it. girls like surprises.

girls like different things. Perfumes, scarfs, makeup maybe, or toys like bears etc. ( I got these for valentine) depends what ur gf likes. Why don't u ask her?
