recently ive been under a lot of stress, and i developed floaters. i dont think they are caused by stress but i just thought id include that. so i went to an eye doctor who did a dilation test and a complete eye exam. he told me i was a little nearsighted and that i didn't have any retinal tears. should i worry?

Not to worry, unless they begin to obstruct your vision. You don't mention your age, but "floaters" are most common after the age of about 45 or so and the older you get the more you get them (or more appropriately start to notice them).

I'm 39 now, and I've had them since I was in my early 20's. Just be sure to follow through with your annual eye exams and if you change doctors be sure that you mention it to each one of them.

Why worry if the eye doc says your'e ok - if you think the eye doc is a complete idiot go to another one
