How many things do Christians do or say just to get into heaven? Every time a Christian here calls the athiests names (satin, evil, damned) I wonder if they are trying to show god what good christians they. Or when they quote scripture? Are they trying to kiss up? Or when they say they are praying for sinners, do they do that out of the kindness of their hearts? When they judge others by saying hurtful things and then say that they are only quoting god, I wonder if they really believe that. Honest answers here - I promise I will not judge you.

Some people get mad and lash out at others. Sometimes people get offended and say things they wish they hadn't. Some people don't look inside to see what kind of person they are, or think the way they are is acceptable. Some people are more spiritually mature I think than others. No one is better than anyone else. We are all equal. Our experiences and environments help to shape how we are, and the things we do. That's where understanding comes in. If you can think of why someone has done or said something, you will realize most of the time it is not to offend anyone. The world isn't black and white. There are so many reasons behind each action. no matter what the action is.

Athiests are anti-christs. This has been stated by GOD. If GOD can call them anti-christs, then so can the people who believe and follow GOD. This has been the only name I've given non believers. There is no need for name calling to belittle anyone. The name anti-christ means you do not acknowledge Christ as GODs' son and our savior. Thank you and GOD bless.

any "Christian" that calls the atheists names is not a Christian. for Christ would show love, kindness and compassion to all his enemies. a commandment is given to us:
Matthew 5:44 "But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you"

Christians are not to judge, and the ones that do will be judge accordingly to how the have judged.
Matthew 7:1 "Do not judge, or you too will be judged."
Romans 14:4 "Who are you to judge someone else's servant? To his own master he stands or falls. And he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand."

as for me, i will do things that the Lord asks me to do in private. in my own time away from all others. because it is not others i am trying to impress but God. and God sees all.... im sorry, i can not recall the verse, but it is written that those who proclaim for all to see their good deeds are hypocrites. for it is not the people of this earth you need to try to gain favor of, but rather our father in heaven.

i hope in some way this has helped you.
God bless

The Logic of the Morality for Sacrifice or Self-sacrifice

True believers in a philosophy of altruism, such as Christianity, should take their moral precepts and live them to the fullest. In particular, they should put these rules into practice:

1. Be poor - Give EVERYTHING you have to those who really want it in this life (you keep the benefits of the life beyond)

2. Love your enemies unconditionally - If someone comes into your home to rape your wife or child - love them!

3. Never hurt anyone, even if they want to kill you.

Well now, with these rules in mind most altruists should be able to earn their place in Paradise for sure and with them out of the way, we might live in peace for a change, using the rational code of morality based on reason and logic.

Ethics comes from rational reasoning and it teaches that there can be no justice and no peace without reason. The concept of trade is not based on faith but on reason. I can choose to obtain what I need for living by stealing and defrauding people or I can choose to trade my work for a paycheck. The first is the moral code that worships the sacrifice of others for my benefit and it is immoral; the second is the moral code of logic where no one should sacrifice for anyone else.

I can also choose to serve others and get nothing in return. That again is the code of morality that worships sacrifice. It tells others that I am responsible for all the evil in the world and that I should be paying the price so that they can live free of that burden. This is what Jesus did and taught the world. Few people put in practice the moral code of self-sacrifice to the fullest. They say IT IS BETTER TO GIVE THAN TO RECEIVE, but they don't mean to give anything of great value or anything they really need themselves. It's wonderful to be so rich that we can give to other without feeling a single twitch of discomfort. That's not waht Jesus did or said! Jesus' morality of self-sacrifice is not for living. It's for dying and moving into Paradise. If you really think that code of morality is logical, please don't preach it. Practice it to the fullest, like him, and move on to Paradise.

yes....you will never outgive god and love never goes unrewarded

its all in how you talk to people...yes you should try to be comforting, comapssionate, and caring but not at the expense of compromising God's word to candy coat it for a person who cant take the truth.

God would rather have a man on the wrong side of the fence than a man on the fence. The worst enemies of Christ are not the opposers but the appeasers

The only way to give is to give without expecting a return. To expect a return is to make a trade.

I cannot answer the rest of your questions as I don't know what these people are thinking.

I can say that when I say that I pray for sinners, it is because I want to. I hate to think that anyone would die and go to Hell. And if I have ever said anything that was hurtful, I didn't mean it that way. I just want people to understand that God does love them and that He will save anyone who will trust Him...

True Christians don't do good just to get into heaven. Because all your best work will not earn you a place there. We do good because we recognize Jesus as Lord and it is well with him that we should.

This is rather long, but please read it!

I am a Christian.

What I believe.

I believe that in order to be a true follower of Jesus one must be homeless, not serving the homeless as is the current theme of Christianity.
I believe that in order to be a true follower of Jesus one must accept all, not a selective few as is with the current theme of Christianity.
I believe that in order to be a true follower of Jesus one must totally rely on Jesus as their only means of support, instead of going to work and believe because I have been dis-obedient in working for money, the Lord Jesus has blessed me for it, as is with the current theme of Christianity.
I believe that in order to be a true follower of Jesus one must not only with word promote the Kingdom of the Father, but through actions of healing, feeding ie: physically and spiritually, prophecy and all the rest of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, as this has not been displayed with the current theme of Christianity.
I believe that in order to be a true follower of Jesus one must intercede for all peoples, not for the select few friends or family or self, as is with the current theme of Christianity.

Determination.

I believe that in order to be a true follower of Jesus he is my all in all, therefore, I am what I am, I believe what I believe, It is my belief and that is my belief.

Absolutely it is better to give and expect nothing.

As for the rest of your post. I don't know the motives of others and it's not my place to judge them.

Best wishes!
