you can use any chocolate you like you just need to add oil to it to pump through properly.
but why not do like i did for my wedding hire one from a firm you tell them what chocolate,
what you want to dip in it,
they supply the servettes and the service and the tablecloth + there staff to keep it all topped up with goodies ,
plus they pack it all away and clean it all up afterwards ...NOT YOU.
here are a couple i rang and it is cheaper in the long run plus less hassel for you on your special day.
....www.chocolatiersofdevon.co.uk
or...www.oc.chocolatefountains.com
they go by how many guest are coming to choice of size of fountain.
hope this help's
congratulations on forcoming wedding day.

Have seen and used a choccy fountain twice- they don't get too messy at all, your guests do though.
You need (dependant on no of guests) about 10 - 15 'dipping items' per person unless there is a 100% chocoholic there. Most guests are finished after 10 bits. Now I LOVE chocolate in a BIG way , but I couldn't get through 8 strawberries with a choccy coating... and i hadn't eaten for hours!
Go for it if you like, but the dipping items are what cost the cash!

if you want a small one they are sold anywhere that sell things for the home..but if you want a big one try looking on ebay..the bigger ones are very expensive.
you can buy chocolate from ebay too or you can get it from thorntons.
you need about 3-4 bags of chocolate for a smaller one, and about 10million more bags for a bigger fountain lol..thortons will be able to advise you.

You can get them in Argos, if you can't find the chocolate apparently you can use ordinary chocolate with a bit of oil added, though I haven't tried it.
congratulations on your forthcoming wedding and good luck
