I had my passport expedited and it came back in time for my trip to the UK BUT my birthplace is incorrect!! Everything else is correct, seems like a small detail to me. I dont have time to get this fixed.... so i can chance it? OR I would have to cancel the trip. Does anyone think that I would have any problems traveling with this passport?

As far as I'm aware, you will only have problems if your country of birth is incorrect, however, before you travel, check with the British Consul in your country.

Have a nice stay over here.

Well you just act really surprised and all "WHAT! are you kidding me? they messed up my birthday!, no that's impossible, let me see...*look at it* they did! I can't believe this" and just play it off.

I'm a real drama queen though, so I can pull off stuff like this...

I've had to do that because the bank messed up my birthday and I had to change my password...anyway it worked!!

If you contact the place and say "look you messed up my birth date, I'm leaving for my vacation in a couple days. What are you going to do to get this fixed, I'm not cancelling my trip because of your mistake" and if you have to, get rude with them, but be nice at the beginning so they'll try to help, but if they're not helping get rude with them.

Unless the immigration officer in the country you are visiting was also your mother's obstetrician, you won't have an problems.

Unless, of course it mistakenly identfies your birthpalce as Kandahar, Afghanistan or something.

Get advice from the department of state. I can see it being a problem if you also have birth certificate and they conflict with each other.
