sometimes i try to take a nap or just lie down and rest. i try not to focus on things that might make me wig out. just go somewhere quiet and try to relax. hey some people have a drink or two. try that if you drink. good luck.

I hear you...stress is a common issue today. I do these things:
Golf
Exercise
Mess around here
Get a bit more sleep/sleep in
Read a book
Long hot bath
Go see a movie
take an extra day off work
Go on vacation
Play road hockey with my kids
Most important: relax!

Walk it off in the daytime's fresh air.
Meditate
Use lavender aromatherapy (candles, incense, shampoo, soap)
Drink Chamomile Tea
Drink SleepyTime Tea
Drink warm milk
Eat healthy foods
Don't use caffeine after lunch time
Don't eat heavily after 6PM
You can try the supplement Valerian Root which helps to calm you down, and may help you to sleep.
You can try the supplement Melatonin, which is for sleep--even helps people working rotating shifts and with jet-lag DO NOT take both Valerian and Melatonin.
There is SleepyTime Extra Tea with Valerian--this is a smaller dose of Valerian, and may be good to start out on--to make sure you have no bad reaction to it.

I enjoy every day, laugh a lot and am enthusiastic about my work. A change of attitude about things that stress you out might help. Look at things in positive ways. Work out what causes you to stress and deal with them one at a time.

not sure of your religion, for Me I pray to God to help me give peace and comfort, and then I do other things like take a bath and listen to music. read my Bible
or I talk to a freind who can be trusted and loves unconditional type of freind, like a mother, ect
take a bubble bath & watch a comedy movie
write down how you feel in a journal.
count to 20 instead of 10 and breathe in breathe out ,
put on your favorite music and sing and dance away for afew minutes if you can,
take a walk around the block , go visit a freind and have a cup of coffee or tea,

try meditating just close your eyes and picture yourself in a calm relaxing place like a desert island or in the deep woods or a field of flowers or someplace like that. repeat to your self "I am so relaxed." there's a place on the top of your nose between your eyes where you can gently squeeze that helps relieve stress too. count your blessings all the things you have like people who care about you.

Try meditating and practicing yoga.
The most effective method for me is to pray. Somehow everything feels better when you pray.
A Hot bubble bath helps too!

Take a hot bath, it makes you sleepy and relieves stress. Also, you can buy stress relieving balls or just squeeze something in your hand. Very theraputic.

i usually put on my favorite music and dance it off or i do yoga or pilates .... i dont know how old you are but sometimes i just call my best friends and go out for a glass of wine or 2 or 3 ... LOL .. good luck listen try not to think about it is a waste of time and energy ...laugh it off
