Get a digital tuner, either by getting a set top box or an HDTV capable TV. Besides the primary channel programming provided by your local TV stations, you can get the subcarrier programming. For instance, Channel 25-1 could be getting PBS programming, but if you tune to Channel 25-2 or -3 or so forth, you can find additional programming there.

You need an outdoor antenna.
