Waterfalls,.....you know those ones found on the great mountain fronteer,....giant falls with logs stretching across where bears like to cross. Towering pine trees reaching to the sky. The sky mybe has clouds the have sunbeam spot lights shining down to the ground, with an eagle flying......

Yup,...waterfalls,...and great north american fronteer,....thats me
But never in realism,..painting landscape as a graphic style,....realism is boring!!!

I like to see either animals or people in a painting. I do not like a landscape without somone in it although a seascape is OK for me if it has a boat

If I'm painting it, I prefer animals. When I'm viewing art, I especially like Renaisance people.

I study artwork historic past and performance got here upon that i recognize works that contain the Goddess Venus and also Classical allegorical artwork. Renaissance artwork is my interest and my chosen study area.

Machinery...Big stuff, diggers, JCB's, cranes...old tractors are great too because you can see bits of the engine, rads, etc.
Also like looking at the inner moving parts of old installed machines, like for hydro run mill, or a printing press, insides of clocks......hope that's been of use to you-sw
