Don't worry, Tomas. Nothing's wrong. It's just that the current of life is ebb and flow, I mean that the fights between your father and brother is nothing serious and they will pass in peace. If you feel like being able to resolve these fights then do but beware your interference might complicate matters.
Or you might suggest councelling maybe that will solve things out. Or you might stay out of it and hope for the best.
Good Luck Tomas

It's a difficult problem, but it's an easy solution. Maintain your relationship with each of them independantly. Don't pick sides. Don't push them or try to resolve things.
Just don't let either of them bad-mouth the other to you. Just:
"Dad, I know Joe makes you mad, but that's something you need to talk to him about. I don't let him bad-mouth you in front of me, and I'd ask you not to bad-mouth him in front of me, either. He's my brother and I love him." And the same thing to your brother, the other way around.
If they're going to work things out, they will. If they won't, they won't. You have enough to deal with without getting stuck in the middle. You can't force people to make up and you can't solve other people's problems for them.
I'm sorry about your mom. You'll always miss her, but it won't always hurt so much.
