Some habits are hard for men to break. He is not respecting your friend. Does it bother your friend? If yes then she needs to confront him about it. My Fiancee was Single for alot of years before we met and he flirted alot. It did not matter if I was present or not. I sat him down one day and told him I was tired of it, and the disrespect he is showing me. He has improved alot since then. A Man will do what a Woman allows them do to. She needs to put her foot down now..

I guess there is nothing wrong with flirting, if you are not hurting anyone. If he is behaving like this in front of the person he is supposed to respect and love, then she has every right to feel upset . There really isn't anything she can do, she need to start developing her life outside of her relationship with him. Is it just flirting, or does he take things further? If he does, then he has clearly lost value in her. In that case, she is better off without him. Good luck.

What does having children have to do with it? It doesn't lessen or aggravate the seriousness of flirting. Flirting is one thing, doing more is another. If it's just words and winks, he'd probably be terrified if it went farther. Our local postman likes to chat up the girls, he really thought he was something until one of the girls threw her arms around him and laid a big wet kiss on him--he almost ran away!
But if she's worried he's being unfaithful, it's just as bad to cheat on your spouse without children as with--you're still cheating.

There is no harm in flirting. All men and indeed women do it at some stage. Mind your own business and dont try upsetting your friend, over something that is quite a harmless.
