I met a guy and I really like him but it seems to me he's always lying...he told me he was going to spain but he wasn't. he told me he couldn't see me because he was working but then he said he was in hong kong and he wasn't supposed to go till half term. I'm so confused.

When I first started going out with my boyfriend he always lied about everything he did, even little things that did not even matter. Soon, I found out that he was cheating on me. Maybe this guy has other girls that he is interrested in, and is lying as an excuse to have time to spend with the other girl(s). But, if you really like this guy, tell him that, and confront him about lying all of the time. If he likes you enough, he will quit lying. And, whichever way it turns out, if you do talk to him about it, you will feel alot better. For me, it was very stressful when I was being lied to all of the time.

if he's lying to you then leave him alone or ignore him. If he's lying about things like that there's no telling what he'll lie about if you two go out. So I'd just stop anything from happening between the two of you before it's too late you end up getting hurt.

I'm not sure of his motives for lying to you but HONESTY is the most important part of any relationship. If you are honest with someone, it builds trust and caring about that person. There shouldn't be any confusion - If he can't be honest, be on your way before you even get started with him - Otherwise you'll never know what you can believe or trust about him. I'm sure you can find someone else who will be honest with you and build a better relationship.

He's lying because he isn't interested in you, and he can see you are interested in him. So he's trying to get you to leave him alone by lying and telling you he's not around. He isn't around, for you. He just doesn't want to have to say the words "Go away." Find someone else.

He doesnt sound like a very nice man!!! I dont think i would waste my time on him. If he's lying about where he's traveling ( which is quite a big thing to lie about) what else is he lying about? Get rid of him!!!

I don't know whats going on with this guy, I do know , if he wanted to see you, wild horses wouldn't keep him away.
Its horrible to be lied to, would you really want to have anything to do with a liar? I think you are worth more than that. He is insulting you. Tell him to, ( i cant think of anything polite to say) , hopefully you will figure it out. Liking someone who lies to you and clearly refuses to see you, is not worth your mental input or feelings. You will find someone who likes you back and wants to spend time with you. Good luck to you.

i've got a friend like that. just don't take what he says seriously. it doesn't mean he is a liar instinctively. i believe that there is no such thing as a bad person; only damaged people. you should just stay mates with this guy, cos he is probably a great person, just don't take everything he says as the gospel truth that's all lol

LOL...you like this guy but he's a compulsive liar...hmm. GET RID OF THIS FOOL!!!! I was friends with this guy who lied constantly and he is a really bad liar. He would always contradict himself and it got on nerves so much. DUMP HIM!
