I have heard from people that in order to get girlfriends when your 17-18 you desperately need a car, and when you do you'll have girls lineing up so to speak. I'm going through some family issues at the moment and I haven't got my license yet. I was wondering if girls would still date you if they had a car and license, but not you?

Of course they'll date you!! And if they won't, they are not the kind of person you want to date. She should want to be with YOU, not your cart. Now, if you were 35, things would be different.

Maybe materialistic girls. I've dated plenty of guys without their license. It helps with being able to get out and do things with one another, but it shouldn't be a NEED in a relationship. My tip: Go for more down to earth girls.

Yes some girls i know do my son was in his 20's with no car but his girl had one..He has a car now but at times he didn't.

having a car has nothing to do with getting a girlfriend. i'm 17 and i would date a guy if he didnt have a car. so don't worry about it.
