Bad breath can be caused by many things, food that we eat, but if the bad breath stays with you and is fairly constant, it very well could be problems with your gums. A periodontist is the dental doctor that you want to see. You very well may need deep cleaning in the gums and under your teeth. It isn't painful, just a little uncomfortable. It could save your teeth also. Check out a periodontist.

Most bad breath (halitosis) comes from something in the mouth. Food sticks between your teeth, around the gums and on your tongue. If you don't brush and floss your teeth every day, this food can rot. The rotten bits of food cause a bad smell in your mouth. Rotten food also helps bacteria to grow in your mouth. This bacteria can cause gum disease, or gingivitis. Gingivitis also causes bad breath.

That is a very good answer. They thing which cause's bad breath is what ever you do eat. E.g. if you had hot food last night. I don’t know what happens but its cause by the working down blow in the stomach . I hope this helps you .

Bacteria that live in your mouth causes the smell. Kind of the same idea as b.o, since that smell comes from bacteria living in your armpits. They like to live in warm, damp places, and your mouth is perfect for this! Sometimes when you wake up and you have really bad breath, it is mostlikely because you mouth has been shut all night, and the bacteria has multiplied. Hope that helps!

I know that there are new studies that eating yogurt at least once per day will ease the bad odor, and it helped heal the acid reflux I had for years.
