Either a person kills a baby and the baby goes to Heaven, or God kills a baby and the baby goes to Heaven. God has been described killing thousands of innocent newborn and unborn babies (in the flood, Sodom and Gomorrah, first born in Egypt...). People have killed thousands of babies too, but what's the difference? According to the Bible, God sure doesn't think it hurts the babies any.

~It is wrong to take another human beings life: especially one as innocent and helpless as a baby.
The embryo found inside of a womans belly however is nothing more than a clump of cells that cannot survive outside of its host (mother) and is therefore not yet human, nor alive.
Everything happens for a reason. If it is Gods will, his will be done.

This is a question that can only be answered by saying "It depends on the circumstances". Like a potters clay pots that he has full right to destroy if he wishes, we belong to God. He has fill rights to do with us as He wills.. Now is it right to go to War.. See that is the same type of question.. It depends. Is there a greater good to be served or evil that must be stopped? Sometimes terrible things are necessary. What would you say if there was a town that was infected with a terrible illness and only through fire could it be stopped from infecting all mankind? Would it be ok to kill babies? See it depends on what you are talking about.. Apples to apples... Oranges to oranges... Ok Jim

The whole theme of the Bible:
Innocent blood must be shed for the atonement of the guilty. Examples: Animals, babies, JESUS
The Canaanites (victims of Joshua's army) were far from innocent.
Innocent blood was shed because if it wasn't, God would'ave broken his original promise to Abraham to 'curse those that curse you'.
The Philistines used to 'pluck the flesh off of Israel's children'...you should read the whole story.
If you honestly think God orders the killing of innocent children "just because" than you haven't understood that passage.

He killed them because the people who were raising them received that as a consequence for their evill doing. The babies wouldn't go to heaven, because have they made a choice to love God? Of course its not good to kill babies they haven't made that deicision yet to either love God or not. even if, they still don't get the chance to live life, or possibly live life for God.

I am with you, why is it that God is good when he/she/it kills babies, but ppl are wrong for doing it? Isn't it a crime if God takes a life?
I think it's wrong for ppl to kill babies, but I also think that this talked about god is wrong, too.
I don't think the god that's talked about in the bible is as good and nice and kind a god as Fundies make him/her/it out to be.
Just another attempt at justifying hypocricy.

Silly question.
First of all .. sin kills babies not GOD.
He did not invite sin into this world and he is working his plan to remove it while saving as many as will be saved.
But on GOD killing:
GOD is perfect and has declared that we are all born with a guilty verdict over our heads.
GOD has every right to kill anyone he wants too because he is the judge and the jury and the person against whom the crime is committed.

what?? Babys automatically go to Heaven. They havent done anything wrong. It says in the Bible that God did that because he was discusted by the way humanity was going and treating him. It has nothing to do against babies. Abortion is wrong however because many people feel that babies dont matter.

sure this is z ordinary section,while wars the place fought in pre gun days,women persons the place raped in the previous death and young infants the place killed ,say you circulate right into a village kill adults,then sooner or later the youngsters improve up a d exchange into enemy warring parties,,,...understand adays cowards who call themselves gods warriors conceal in the back of infants and blame others while a bomb drops,in african countries they use infants as solders each and each of the time,. conflict isn't a video pastime,this is a serious deal,and as much as people arou d the worldwide seem at individuals as barbarians for killing civilians,it would desire to be an entire heck of alot worse,ww2 observed bombs from all armys dropping on citys with infrequently no militia in them and limitless infants the place killed

Have you ever held a baby? Man that is some crazy stuff right there, you literally have all power over it. It's kinda freaky. Gladly, most people also recognize the responsibility as well as the power.

no its not ok to kill babies. they are people too. i think in a war it is somedifferent only it's not choice, why would anyone want to kill an innocent, harmeless baby anyway?
