I wouldnt like that at all. not to be jealous but they dudes should have the respect to call at a decent hour.

Its hard to deal with but i think you need to accept the fact that your girl has the close guy friends. the tough part is you know exactly why the guys are friends with her.. they want a piece, but on the other hand you need to know and trust that your girlfriend only wants you and then you should be able to get over it.

If she is making new close guy friends that would worry me but if theyve been around for a while dont sweat it.

my thoughts on jealousy are: Theres no point in worrying about being cheated on because there is nothing you can do to stop it. you just have to be confident in the fact that you made the right choice to begin with and that youve found a decent person with good morals who will not cheat on you. 99% of the time jealousy is something that is all in your head and you and only you are the only person who can change it.

It's not really you that's the problem. In "When harry met Sally" Harry says that guys and girls can never be friends because the sex thing is always out there. Even though you may not feel that way and your boyfriend might know that, he still feels that any one of these guys would jump into bed with you given the chance and he's probably right. You need o respect how he feels and limit the encounters with these other guys if you want a healthy relationship.

It depends on the guy. Some guys do not care and are a lot more Trusting. However, in my personal experience guys do not have respect for the other man anymore. You may have a girl but if he likes her he will still try so in my case I do have a problem. If he is calling her at 2 in the morning its because he wants something from her. You should ask this guy straight out. Do you like me or something. If he says yes you gotta let him know that your with someone so if he wants to continue being friends he needs to cut that stuff out.

First of all, nobody should be calling her that late.

Next, the issue is not so much having male freidns as what those male friends do with your girlfriend. If they seem to be hitting on her, or she seems to be encouraging their affection for her, then obviously, that is not approrpriate behaviro for friends.

It all comes down to trust. How much do you trust your GF? How much do you trust her male friends? Your GF may not realize that she is getting hit upon by one of her male friends, and you will need to let her know in a nice way.

There is nothing wrong with your GF having oneor more male friends, but these friends should not be calling her at any time and more than one time every few months -- unless a male friend of hers is undergoing a crisis in his life.

i have more of an evolutionary primate mindset....

such stuff is hardcoded into ourselves. You can even c this in monkeys and other animals if another male tries to come close to his mate, he is going to fase something good and definitely a phone call would at 2 am would piss any guy off.

men cant help it the "defending their mates" behavior has been passed on to them by their ancestors.

this should give u an idea

Well, I can tell you how it was with my bf. He felt threatened at first, but I arranged that we three met, went out and got to know each other. He still isn't thrilled, but it's because he never had a girl friend that didn't want to sleep with him. He has never complained, though, because he knows how important my friends are to me, how they had been there to comfort me long before he arrived.

yeah that is definitely sketchy, there's no reason for a "friend" to just randomly call at 2 in the morning unless it's an emergency.

2 a.m. calls are booty calls - no question.

Unacceptable. Reverse the rolls - how would you feel.
