do they mail it before the date or on the exact date? if it's coming from austin, tx how long should it take to get to miami,fl?

They will mail it today, the 9th, if that is what they told you and generally, most people get theirs the next day, Saturday, but it may take until Monday. It's usually pretty quick. We always efile and do direct deposit but when we did mail in our returns, our checks would come within a day or two of the IRS mailing them.

They mail it on the date. When it arrives is hard to predict, but I usually figure a week for mail to travel within the United States. Generally, it takes less time than that.
