If you've fallen for him, then even if you don't say anything to him the nature of your friendship will have changed. So, you should probably be honest with him. It's no use hinting that can only lead to misunderstandings. Pick a good time when you are both relaxed and have time for a long conversation and tell him your feelings have changed from friendship into romance. But before you do this - are you sure or are you just day-dreaming?
also, he may not feel the same and so your friendship may be permanently damaged. But if you don't say anything, then you will be being insincere with him, and friends shouldn't be that way anyway. hope you feel good about the decision you make and that all goes well for you.

Since I'm a guy and my best friend is a guy the first thing that I would do is freak out because it would mean that I was gay; and at my age you would think that I would have known that many years ago.

You fail to mention if your friend is a he or a she. Is your friend in a relationship with some one else? This all plays into making a decision and giving advice.

lmfao bout the vicki fing, well i guess jus try push it if u wanna get with him then u show signs, if he is then it shows he's interested or atleast playing, jus show him signs and see if he gets deeper in the way he shows his signs or if he'll make a move

Try eating some chocolate, and a whole bucket of ice cream, go do some exercise, and buy some clothes at a kids clothes shop, plaster you face with make-up, and ask him to go cosmetics shopping with you, there, you are spending quality time with him, and he will notice you in a BIG croud.
