You are right to "kind of differ" because you can have problems from ABUSING any drug. Responsible use has some side effects, but side effects that are in line with anything you put into your body. Drink caffeine, you get energy. Eat chocolate, you can gain weight (among other chemical effects to the brain that are beside the point).
Marijuana is not the horrible drug the Federal government wants you to believe it is. There are MANY medicinal benefits to marijuana, and, in fact, the drug has saved lives. To back this up, the US government at one time had a program that supplied medicinal marijuana to patients legally. The program was suspended under George Bush senior because he felt it was getting too big. At that time there were, I believe, 38 people registered as federal marijuana patients. Now there are 6 left who still receive legal marijuana. This is not the case with any other drug in the same classification as marijuana.
BUT, with abuse of any prescription drug, there are side effects. Loss of memory is one. Another is change of brain chemistry. because the brain is getting the THC and other chemicals, it will change the production of certain chemicals it naturally produces accordingly. This is in the cases of daily smoking, mostly. But studies have not been able to show 100% (at least, not to my knowledge) if those naturally produced chemicals are produced at the same levels, or at all, once the levels of THC drop.
All in all, marijuana is a relatively benign drug. But people should treat it with respect. Don't drive under the influence, don't abuse it, and make educated decisions about it's use, but that goes with any drug you put in your body.
ADD On: It has been proven that marijuana does not have the carcinogens that are present in tobacco. In fact, in some studies, marijuana has been proven to build cells resistance to cancer causing elements / other cancerous cells.

The answer is no. There are no serious medical problems that you will face. The basic side effects to weed are the temporary ones( ie: dizzy, light headed, dry eyes, hunger) The long term effects are mostly mental. Long term, heavy use can cause someone to loose the ability to consentrate, remember things and sleep 8 hours a night. And of course any inhalation of smoke effects your lungs. But there has been no link to cancer or any other terminal illnesses. In fact it's used to help relieve term ill or long term illnesses.

THC actually does numb part of the nervous center of the brain.
I don't believe there have been shown any short term effects in regards to this effect, but there has been some concern that long term use could retard that portion of the mind after years of use.
It's like a filament in a light bulb. The more you turn the lights on and off, the weaker the filament will become. Same here with these electronic nerve centers in the human mind.

There aren't any medical problems specifically associated with smoking marijuana. In fact, the evidence is that it can be very useful in combating the symptoms of certain diseases.
Compare that with alcohol and then ask yourself which is worse. Marijuana being illegal is just happenstance. It should be legalised - it does less harm than alcohol and can have benefits for people who suffer from medical certain conditions.

There are no links proven to be caused by Marijuana use. It is just as bad as cigarettes because it has no filter - however, tobacco is treated with pesticides while marijuana usually is not. No one knows for sure. It sounds however, like the two of you are being judgemental of each other. Maybe you should not try to play mother your brother and vise-versa?

Carrots do not advance down. The suitable for eating area of the carrot is the basis. something else of the carrot plant grows up in the route of the solar like another flora. flora deliver their stalks and leaves solar wards and their roots downward. Chloroplasts, the factors of plant cells that make chlorophyll are photosensitive and so flow in the route of the gentle.

I don't smoke, but I agree with your brother. In order to "differ", you should have some examples to back up your argument. Otherwise it is knee-jerk reaction.
