This is the expirence of remembering something that you did see before in your life. I have this too many times to recall because I do dream a lot more than most people, and my dream life is so real I cannot tell dreams from reality, espicially when many times my dreams and reality are so closely tied together. The Bible does speak about this; Genesis 20:3 But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, Behold, thou art but a dead man, for the woman which thou hast taken; for she is a man's wife.
Genesis 28:12 And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.
Here are first two recorded dreams of the Bible, both are God speaking to people.
Now Joseph wasa spiritual man and his dreams did predict the future events just like a prophet seeing visions while he is awake the other way God does communicate with men is dreams; Genesis 37:5 And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more.Genesis 37:8 And his brethren said to him, Shalt thou indeed reign over us? or shalt thou indeed have dominion over us? And they hated him yet the more for his dreams, and for his words.
Genesis 37:9 And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me.
Now Joseph wasa good example of this expirence you speak of because he was telling his brothers of events 20+ years in the future. Also he was a good type or example of Jesus which was a few thousand years in the future.Acts 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
God does purpose dreams so that you can see your future, because all of the children of God need encouragement, this is an expirence to have faith in things beyond human understanding and the power of God.
To further explain which will be much harder for many to believe is to say all of the things that happen on earth did happen before time began in the mind of God and sometimes for what ever purpose God does flash to you an expirence as it happened in his mind for encouraging you only, because we who are sons of God did always exist in his mind as thoughts just as Jesus was the orginal thought so are the sons of God branches off of that original thought of God, or attributes if you like and de ja vu lets you know you are in the mind of God from the begininng of time.Revelation 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Revelation 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.
You see all them inside the Lamb's book of Life are the ones that are the original thoughts of God and De Ja Vue does testify that these things are true

"déjà vu" is the experience of feeling that one has witnessed or experienced a new situation previously. The experience of déjà vu is usually accompanied by a compelling sense of familiarity, and also a sense of "eerieness", "strangeness", or "weirdness". The "previous" experience is most frequently attributed to a dream, although in some cases there is a firm sense that the experience "genuinely happened" in the past. Déjà vu has been described as "Remembering the future." It is also thought to be memories from a previous lifetime.

The experience of déjà vu seems to be very common; in formal studies 70% or more of the population report having experienced it at least once. References to the experience of déjà vu are also found in literature of the past, indicating it is not a new phenomenon. It has been extremely difficult to invoke the déjà vu experience in laboratory settings, therefore making it a subject of few empirical studies. Recently, researchers have found ways to recreate this sensation using "

While, it is definitely a spiritual experience, it is not necesarily God telling you something, other than hinting that you have lived lifetimes before this one!

All I know is that I have experienced it many times. Mostly in my youth. I think the last time was in my late 20's. I am 39 now.

When it happens, I am just in my normal life and all of a sudden, I know exactly what someone will say or do. It is weird, but I liked it. I wasn't scared.

I wish it would happen more often, but I am not as 'spiritual' or experimental as I used to be. Maybe that's why.

As far as God trying to tell you something, no one can tell you that for sure, that is all belief.

But, it does raise the question: 'Is God in all of us? If so, de'ja'vu' isn't that hard to comprehend.

There is no true deja vu as we havent lived past livesw or any of them. But, there are times when God will show us something we need to see to get thru a siatuion. That is of God, and its real. Its supernatural. You can ask me anything anytime. It would take a lot to tell you what I now about this, as I have studied for years. But, I am glad you asked. ask specific questions if you would like. God bless you for asking.

I don't know what spiritual deja vu is but it does drive me crazy when someone says, "It's just like deja vu all over again" Isn't that just repeating the same phrase twice?

Many theorists believe that it is a memory anomaly which occurs when one's conscious mind has a slight delay in receiving perceptive input. In other words, the unconscious mind perceives current surroundings before the conscious mind does. This causes one's conscious self to perceive something that is already in one's memory, even though it was in one's memory only a split second before it was perceived.

It is worth noting that the déjà vu feeling is common among psychiatric patients.

It is just false memory, triggered by a set of circumstances that nearly duplicate those of another experience.

it is proved so many times that re births are there. christianity doesn't believe there might be some reason. but dejavu is repitition of something that happened in ur previous birth & u recall it. ok dont blve in rebirth then let me remind u that at least u blve tht u r energy then where does it go after death ? because science says energy can neither be created nor destroyed, its form can be changed. that means after death u r not destroyed u just change ur form. that is re birth.
