Without a relationship, don't go crazy with it..nothing risque, or over the top..you don't know each other well enough, and does she have a boyfriend? Do something nice and sweet that opens the door but does not make her feel uncomfortable if she's got other plans or isn't the type to jump into something all of a sudden.
Chocolate (always a good choice, for any occasion)
Card (not too mushy or promises or undying love)
Perhaps an invitation to dinner.
A movie.
If you do things together often, just go one step further..if you normally go dutch, you treat. If you normally say goodbye at 8:00, suggest something that lasts till later.
Mix and match the above as seems appropriate.

buy her a teddy bear a little one (you dont wanna get overpractical) and write her a note a tape it to the bear's hand and put something like "I kno this isnt much or anything but i've thought u were always a beautiful girl and i was hoping maybe that we could get to know each other and take it from there." I kno through experience u dont wanna just come out asking her out unless she knows u well and stuff. Hope it works

Well all girls like diferent things but you could always take her somewhere nice to eat and then a moonlight stroll trough the park! You really don't have to do alot if you really like her than she'll like what ever you dish out!
