The term that you actually heard was "Freemasons". We are not devil worshipers. In fact, we are not even a religion and are not allowed to talk about religion in our meetings. We are a fraternal organization dedicated to improving ourselves and helping others.
We only admit adult men, so Madonna certainly is not a memeber. As for Jay-Z, I have heard that rumor as well, but I don't know whether or not he is a member. I think more than likely it is because he used certain symbols in one of his vidoes that people often associate with Freemasons, and started the rumor.
There are some muslim men in my lodge, although most of us are Christian and Jewish. Like I said, religion doesn't matter when joining a lodge. Freemasonry is a fraternity that teaches morality by using symbolism based on the operative craft of Masonry (building with stones and brick).
If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me, and please don't believe all the silly claims made on here by non-members. If you want to know about the Freemasons, the best way to find out is to ask one. That is the only way to get the truth.

LUKE! Clean out your ears! It's FREE Masons, not three masons. Check out just about any website that describes the history of America. The symbolism used in America is from the Free Masons. Watch the movie "National Treasure" with Nicolas Cage. That will explain some about the Free Masons. And yes, they do practice witchcraft even though some say they don't. They are a secret society and cast spells. What does that tell you? AKA Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite. There is a website run by a former Mason but I can't remember the address. My hubby may still have it but I won't see him for hours yet. Sorry.

Mason originally meant one who did the work of a stonemason, or brick mason or block mason.--- built with hard things and mortar. Then about 200 years ago some secret societies formed calling themselves "masons". They said they were building (a new world order) You have Scottish rites. And others. I think the man who said they were devil worshippers is right, but the lower orders think it is just a civic club which does some good things (but that is just their cover)

I think that your talking about the Free Mason's. They are a group of men who were established years ago by masonaries. These builders (masonaries) would have secret meetings to discuss their work, building techniques, etc., etc., They paid dues to be in this society (group) and would appoint certain members as their leaders. Their meetings were very secret and any member who was found guilty of being a big mouth and talking in public about the secret meetings would be harshly punished. The members would go through initiations much like sororitys have to, to become a member. These days its very much the same only the members don't have to be home builders or architects, anymore. Any man over the age of 21 maybe eligiable. Alot of todays members are lawyers, doctors, developers, and blue collar workers. Their members are still very secretive, though. They are not allowed to discuss any part of any meeting that they have. I believe that you have to be of American bred decent to be a member. There are African American members these days, though. One of the female equivalants of the group is known as the Daughters of the Southern Star.

You mean "Freemasons", and the Muslims would know nothing of them. Although there are `female` masonic lodges, freemasonry is predominantly male only.

The three Mason's are literally three mason's, simple as that. If you mean freemasons there are plenty of answers to read in answers.
