Free state tax software?

Most free federal tax softwares use federal part as bait, when dealing with state tax, they usually charge you. You can not ommit state tax unless you reside in those lucky states (TX, FL...). Does any one know any tax freewares that include state (Georgia in particlular) return. Thanks a million.

Tax Software companies need to make some money to stay in business right ? So they offer one free and charge other one.

Can you think about the complexity involved in creating a tax software ? They spend a lot of money and time in creating these softwares.

So in the long run it is the interest the consumers that many tax software companies are alive and offer free software or charge less. If half of the companies become bankrupt, the surviving ones will double the price right ?
