I kind of forgot to say that i'm 280lbs and he probably wont think of me in that ''ooh she's HOTT'' way. But i should still talk to him right? i just want a frinedship.

I don't know what the first part of the question was but, every guy has different preferences in women. Maybe a 280 lb women is just what he is looking for. Weight has nothing to do with a relationship.

i don't kno if i missed the first part of the question but yea, you should still talk to the guy. If you just want to be friends then he shouldn't be all superficial about your looks. If he is that way then why bother?
