Dear fisherwoman, you are very sweet worrying about my dog so much.
You don't need to though, my dog has two passports, a vaccination book and a health book, a microchip and at least 3 health certificates (we travel a lot).
He eats only the best food, Hill's Science, and he is the strongest little doggie I've ever seen. Feeling the need to give your dog a treat every now and then doesn't necessarily make you an irresponsible owner.
If you have dogs I sincerely hope you loosen up and enjoy your relationship with them.

I feed my dogs eggs at least 3 times per week. It is part of the BARF diet for dogs. I grind the shell up and put it in with the eggs to give them extra calcium. It is really good for them.

Why do you feel the need to feed your dog people food? It's not cute,it's not healthy for them, and I just don't understand why people want to feed their pet's the food they bought for themselves? What is the deal anyway?Unless directed by a vet for health reasons, your dog should only be eating quality dog food and quality health bars/cookies made for dogs. If you want to mess with their digestive system, breath foul smelling gas emitting from your doggie, and pay for vet visits because you are causing him to have allergies caused by you, then go for it, but beware, you will be an irresponsible pet owner. Good luck.

A scrambled egg now and then mixed in with their food is no problem, eggs are good for a dog's coat. For a great snack, try giving your dog those little baby carrots raw - most dogs love them and my vet says they are great for satisfying their urge to crunch!

It won't hurt your dog and I've read that eggs are even good for their fur coats, but moderation of "people food" is the key to a healthy pet diet. Don't let your pets get used to people food, they can get health problems just like we can.

Most dogs love eggs, I wouldn't feed them everyday, but they are good for dogs. You can also feed them raw and with the shell, the shell is loaded with calcium. Check your bag of dog food, most good quality food contain eggs.

Feeding a dog eggs now and then is actually good for them and their coats. I feed my dog one egg every week.

I wouldn't. Dog food is the only healthy way to go.
