No basically everyone that's answering is wrong, actually if you do high intensity interval training for upwards of 15 minutes a few times a week it is much more efficient than long endurance cardio.
Long endurance cardio doesn't burn fat efficiently... anyone that knows anything about cardio can tell you that.

If you can your better off getting all 30 in at one time...however, it is nearly as affective getting in 10 minutes 3x per day.
Some of my clients that are shift workers have a challenge due to being tired after those long 14hr days...this was one way we came up with to get in the daily exercise needed to maintain their health.
Which ever you are able to do will definately be better than shrugging your shoulders and saying "I don't have time...I'll do it tomorrow".
Yours in Health and Fitness,
James.

in order to get a proper work out you need to do it in one shot. basically a 10 minute warmup, 10 minute full strength work out and a 10 minute cool down.
10 mins three times a day is nice but its not going to help that much.

you need to keep your heart rate up for at least 20 at a time to actually benefit from exercise, so... 30 minutes a day.

If you can manage 30 mins, that's probably best.
I'm still happy if I can manage it for ten minutes. (and yes, so is my girl-friend).
