I think it didnt, it still depends on you to get to heaven by any means necessary, and youve got to make all sacrifices to get it, but at the end you have to say you were saved by his grace!! so you get no merit at all.
Christianity is all about dissmissing mankind everyday.
you cant live, go, be, do... without a God

It's not THAT easy. Jesus' death created a blood covenant between man and God that whoever accepts Jesus as God's son, is baptized and lives a life in accordance to Jesus' teachings will go to heaven. Jesus died for the remission of sin not to eradicate sin. If he was able to eliminate sin then there would be no need for religion, faith and the world would be a complete utopia.
You have to read the whole Bible don't just cherry pick it.

You will be saved, the minute that you stop and ask Him to forgive you for the sins you committed. The minute you ask Him to come into your life, and promise to live for Him.
It takes belief and faith to be saved. He didn't rid the world of sin. He gave us the promise that we can be saved. Read the gospels in the New Testament. Answers are all there.

Before Christ died on the cross, man had to offer up sacrafices for redemption of sin.
Do a tad more study.

Well, if you ran a red light and were fined, but I sold my car to pay your fines... you would have to allow me to pay your fines. I would have already done the selling, and had the money ready and waiting to pay your fine. But it would be up to you whether to accept that or not. Same thing! :)
Act 16:29-31 Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas,
And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

Jesus offers you the atonement you as you have not grasped yet by other question have a free will and it is in accordance with his will to allow you this free will to choose or reject him. If you reject the truth it is your free will choice and if you accept the atonement it is also by your choice. You are neither forced to accept nor are you prevented from seeking his truth.

First you must recognize your sin before God and put your faith in Christ's sacrifice on your behalf.
Have you done that personally yet?

He paid the price so that you could freely choose to accept Him as your personal savior. Its still your choice, but if He had not paid the price, you could never be good enough to enter heaven.
