Smitty ~
It seems that nothing has changed here. I was really hoping that when I was given the opportunity to come back to this site all of the nonsense would be gone and forever chucked away, no luck there. The good people that come to this forum know who they are and we, if I can even say "We" as regulars really know who they are. The guy/girl that comes to this site and always has the same five voters voting their answer as "BEST ANSWER" or on the negative side gives guys like Tough guy, Brent F, Pancho and you 5 thumbs down are sad to say the least.
I was truly flattered when I was lucky enough to have a person vote my answer as "Best Answer" and if the person didn't give me their nod for whatever the reason and was voted for best answer by the voters I was humbled that they would go out of their way and vote my answer as "Best" but at no time have I ever voted for myself.
I think that these people think that they give their opinions some sort of validation and credibility when they come back with multiple Avatars and vote for themselves.
In my opinion the best thing that "We" the regular guys and the Lady can do is just ignore them, let them expose themselves and let them go away. Trust me here Brother, Life is way too short.
It's good to be back.

A p ribas answer pretty much sums it all up, yeah the whole troll clique think is getting really boring as is the whole thing of slagging fighters off and saying they are crap etc usually a current world champion. Bad fighters don't become world champions even in the current situation of all the alphabet organisations. If people are using muliple avatars or a*** licking people in a clique to get votes, them maybe they should leave the computer alone for a bit and get out a bit more.

Smitty you can put things any way you want, but there is really no difference between the two, man.
Voting isn't important here, at least it shouldn't be. In my opinion, what's really sad and ruining this forum is all the disrespecting and fighter bashing that goes on here on daily basis, and unfortunately this is something that both "cliques" and "trolls" do all the time.
It takes an incredible heart, courage and determination to be a good boxer or a martial artist, let alone to become a world champion in these disciplines. Those of us who have actually been practitioners and active competitors in these sports know that very well. That's why it really sickens me to see many keyboard warriors here, who have never stepped foot in the ring or any other martial arts arena, post demeaning stuff, mock and make fun of people like Klitschko brothers, Nikolay Valuev, Arthur Abraham, Tomasz Adamek, Jermain Taylor, Samuel Peter, Chad Dawson, James Toney...... and so on. Not to like a certain fighter is perfectly OK. You can just say - hey I don't like this guy and I don't think he's very good - explain why and that's cool. But no, posting moronic, demeaning and insulting things about these great athletes has apparently become a normal thing on this forum and, like I said, it's something both "cliques" and "trolls" do regularly now.
I think that Yahoo Boxing would be much better and lot more interesting if all the fighter bashers just got banned the hell out of here. Then it would be clear who the real, knowledgeable and respectful boxing fans are and simply a lot more fun to post here again. That's my opinion.

Hello Santana, welcome back man. It's great to have you with us again.

...very eloquently put, my numerically-named brotha with the number! your judicious use of the english language clearly displays your education and breeding and demonstrates a marvelous economy w/words. but, seriously, i gotta go w/pancho, i agree w/his comments completely! lucky for me panthers are solitary animals, so i am cleared of all clique-like existence.....hey guys, remember when this site used to be all about boxing and not all this other crap? i haven't been w/this for too long, but i say let's just separate the wheat from the chaff, the cream from the other stuff, and let's all just enjoy some good, wholesome boxing fun and share some great memories...does any of the this other stuff rrrrreally matter?

Who in the hell has time to ask or answer more than a couple questions a week!?! The trolls need to quit wasting my freakin' tax dollars and get of the welfare. Get a job or get a life!!!
And if any of you think I care if my answer is ever chosen, think again. I don't have a clue how the point system even works and I could care less. I'm here to have fun.

To tell you the truth, i never knew i was part of a "clique". I vote for a best answer based on what i think is a informative, knowledgeable, and intelligent answer that gives me the facts that i'm looking for. If it happens to be the same person sometimes, then so be it. I'm not going to not vote for someone who i think has the best answer to my question just to prove that i'm not part of some "clique". I vote for whoever gives me the answer that i'm looking for. Period. There are plenty of people on here with excellent boxing knowledge and there are some that don't seem to really know a lot about the sport. Then you have the trouble makers who seem to want to do nothing but cause conflict and drama. Those are the people that i tend to stay away from because it's not worth it to get caught up in that sort of juvenile behavior. I have had plenty of disagreements with people on here, but you still should respect each other even if you don't agree on something. I come on here to share my knowledge about the fight game as well as to learn from others. As far as people using multiple profiles, well, i don't really see the point and i think it's rather childish to do. But, you can't really figure out why people do the things they do in life, and i really don't even waste my time trying.
And to the fake Smitty (we all know you're not the real Smiity) down below, since you had to call me out, go research the question and tell me Vette didn't have the right answers. If that makes me part of a "clique" because i give someone their props for giving a good answer, then so be it. Learn about the sport before you call someone out son. It's so obvious what is going on here, there's a bunch of people on here with nothing better to do with their lives but stir up trouble. I feel sorry for you guys. You need something positive in your lives. Get around some good, positive people and you won't be so negative in life.
